MobileSlicer

MobileSlicer is a local, touch-first 3D printing slicer for Android. It supports STL import, supported 3MF mesh/project loading, plate preparation, profile selection, local slicing, G-code preview, export, sharing, and supported network printing on phones and tablets.

OrcaSlicer relationship

The slicing engine used by MobileSlicer is derived from OrcaSlicer and related open-source slicer projects. OrcaSlicer profile concepts, slicer terminology, and engine behavior are credited to the OrcaSlicer project and its upstream authors.

MobileSlicer is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the OrcaSlicer project.

License summary

OrcaSlicer is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3. MobileSlicer preserves the required notices and source-availability obligations for AGPL-covered code and bundled third-party components.

The complete GNU AGPL v3 license text is available on the AGPL license page. This page is a short public summary, not a replacement for the complete license texts included with source and release materials.

Source code

Source code for public MobileSlicer releases is available at github.com/MobileSlicerApp/MobileSlicer. Release materials include the source code required by AGPL-covered components, including MobileSlicer changes and build materials.

Third-party components

MobileSlicer also includes Android, Kotlin, Compose, native, and slicer-related dependencies. Required notices for bundled components are included with the source and release materials.

Privacy

MobileSlicer is designed around local slicing on your Android device. The app does not require a MobileSlicer account or automatic cloud slicing. Optional Thingiverse sign-in uses Thingiverse's authorization flow so users can search and import files they select through the official API. Model files and G-code are not uploaded to MobileSlicer servers.

Files and printer data can be sent when you choose to export, share, connect to a printer, or use a configured print service. The full privacy details are on the Privacy page.

Model sources

Models discovered through source sites remain the content of their original creators and platforms. MobileSlicer does not claim ownership, partnership, or endorsement for Thingiverse, Printables, MakerWorld, or their creators.

Print safety

Review generated G-code, printer settings, materials, and machine behavior before starting a print.

Warranty

MobileSlicer is provided as-is, without warranty, to the extent allowed by its open-source licenses and applicable law.
